As you may know, I started Sparkle In Gold- my fashionable lifestyle blog – as an outlet to let my creativity thrive. Why? Because I felt there was something missing in my life. Don’t get me wrong- I love where I am at right now with my job, my relationships, and being at home with my family, but I knew there was a piece missing. And it was letting my fun, fashionable, inspirational side out- to all of you.

That being sad, it’s hard not to question where you are going in life. Am I where I am supposed to be right now? Will I be happy and successful with this opportunity or will I be sad and miserable? Where do I go from here? Will this work out?                  These are all questions that quite honestly have run through my head plenty of times- and still do on certain occasions. Though these periods of self doubt can reek havoc on our brain, it is something we have to learn to accept, confront, and move on from.

The best way to move on from all your worries about the future, expectations, and life standards is to be here now. You may be like…but I am. Are you really though? To fully be in the now is to be thankful for everything in your life at this moment- even if the experiences and situations are not your ideal. When you bring focus to this very moment, you’re not regretting things of the past or worrying about the future. As you realize and feel grateful for everything you have been blessed with up until this very moment- it is then you start attracting more good experiences into your life.

Believe it or not, it is the very moment I focus on the present that everything I ever had doubts about seem to go away or fall into place.

Here are some tips that have helped me be here now:

Wake up each day with a grateful heart. Saying thank you for a new day really guides you on the right path.

Count your blessings. Your health, wealth, family, friends, job, etc. are all very important blessings in your life. But what about your daily necessities? Without them you wouldn’t be able to do half the things you need to do in a day. Couldn’t live without those shoes, could you?

Be positive. One important element of being in the now is to stay positive with every circumstance we are dealt. Having your mind focused on what you have, but having complete faith that what you want will happen creates numerous opportunites for you to be blessed with what you have asked for.

I hope you found this post to be helpful, and please feel free to share how you focus on being in the now!
