Pumpkin Patch

A couple of weekends ago, my mom and I headed to her local pumpkin patch at  Smolak Farms. Every year as a kid, my mom would take my brothers and I to the farm to pick apples, enjoy apple cider donuts, and take home a pumpkin or two. Now that we are all older, there are some years where we are unable to all get together to do the traditions we once did, but we make the best of each season! For example, my little brother, Peter, started his first year of college this year. So instead of taking him away from his first few weeks of college, we are bringing fall and a little piece of home to his campus. His roommate is going to love us for bringing the apple cider goods haha!

I told  myself at the beginning of 2016 that this year I would wear lots and lots of dresses. And I have! I have come to love pairing dresses with boots, it’s one of my favorite fall looks! This ASOS dress is perfect for layering for fall. I ordered it at the end of summer, so I was able to pair it with sandals for a couple of weeks, but as the weather has turned cooler recently, I have worn it multiple times with boots and scarves! For under $40, this dress is a steal! It’s so lightweight and comfy, and the length allows you to pair with any type of boot!

We all know I am a huge fan of scarves, so layering this dress with a scarf was a no-brainer. I also ordered this scarf from ASOS, and am so in love. I can’t wait to pair it with a long-sleeve t-shirt, leggings, and boots! ASOS always has the best scarf selection come fall, so stock up now before they all sell out. You can find my recent round-up on my fave fall scarves here.

I hope you all have a great Tuesday!
