Spring Break Packing List

It’s that time of year ladies, Spring Break season! With the anticipation of spring and summer, Spring Break was always my saving grace in knowing that school was almost over and warmer days were ahead. Though I only went on Spring Break once with my friends (Panama City, FL was all the rage back in the day), I remember that my suitcase was full of so many bathing suits, cover-ups, and sandals that were enough to share with all of my friends (yes, I am an avid over-packer!). Since a lot of you are probably packing your suitcase as you read, I thought I’d give you a little guide on the essentials you will actually need, that way you don’t over pack like I constantly did! Versatility is key, so keep in mind to pack items that can be worn for multiple occasions (cover-ups that work as both beachwear and dinner-wear!).

Swimsuit: This is a given, but you want to make sure you pack a swimsuit you LOVE and could possibly get a couple of uses out of. I particularly love this, this, and this.

Cover-ups: Almost as important as the swimsuit! Knowing what it feels like not to have a cover-up that matches your swimsuit (been there done that), I tend to lean on neutral/solid color cover-ups that can go with the brightest of swimsuits, and that can be worn with multiple styles. I love this cover-up cardigan!

Sunnies: Looking for a few options that won’t break your bank? Quay has tons of styles for your affordable college budget. I am in love with these!

Sandals: Pack a pair you can change with your swimsuits/cover-ups, and then two pairs you can wear with day/night outfits. These and these are a couple of my favorites!

Beach bag: Find a beach bag that fits everything you need to take with you to the beach or poolside and that can also be used for nighttime activities. Sole Society always has great travel bags, and this bag in particular is on my wish list!

Sunscreen: The most essential item to pack! My mom always told me that no matter how much you want a tan, make sure you cover your face and I have stuck by it- don’t want wrinkles anytime soon! I just ordered this Dior one, and cannot wait to try once the warmer temps come around!
