Imagine if what you put out into the universe always came back to you. Now, believe that is does.
As you may already know, I am a true believer that your life is a reflection of all the thoughts, feelings, and words we generate at any given time. So, if the type of energy you put out to the universe is reflected back to you in some shape or form, why wouldn’t you want it to be the best?
That’s where kindness falls in.
The way we treat, react, speak to others all plays a part on how our life unfolds. To surround yourself with loving, compassionate people, you have to be one yourself. And this also pertains to how we treat OURSELVES.
In order to have family, friends, or loved ones treat/respect you with kindness, you first have to give yourself kindness. That is, if you are not treating yourself with love & respect, no one is going to do that for you.
Below are three ways to hop on the kindness train to a loving, healthy relationship with yourself:
1. Let go of all the “why am I not like that,” “why am I not that skinny,” etc rants and fully accept the beautiful person you are inside and out. No one person is alike- so girl, rock the you that you are!
2. Don’t beat yourself up over all the things you have yet to accomplish. Yes time and productivity are precious, but don’t waste your time over analyzing all the goals/tasks you haven’t reached. One of the biggest things I have learned with balancing work, a blog, & life is that I can’t do it all. Being a type A and most often than not a procrastinator can lead me to over worry about what I have to do. Though I hold myself accountable for my “must-dos,” I have learned that at the end of the day, I just have to be proud of what I have accomplished and be thankful for what I was capable of doing that day.
3. Self love is the biggest step to filling your life with what you want. Be kind to the body, feelings, and thoughts you have- they are what make you one special lady. Throughout our busy lives, we can tend to beat ourselves up over EVERYTHING. Turn those negative thoughts into positive reinforcements- they will get you a heck of a lot closer to the life you want!
