Valentine’s Day Outfit

Hello hello there! I hope everyone has had a great week! Mine has been filled with to-do lists, but I am thankful to be chipping away at them!

Today I am sharing a some-what casual Valentine’s Day outfit. I love the pleats in this skirt, I feel that they bring out the burgundy color even more so, and add a fancy/frill accent to the outfit! Since the skirt is so fun, I paired a more neutral sweater with it. I picked up this turtleneck sweater before Christmas, so sadly it has since sold out, but I linked similar ones here and here. The turtleneck leaves a cozy element, so perfect for the snowy Valentine’s Day we tend to get each year in Boston!

Come February, my accessories are tried and true, so I whipped out my current favorites. These over-the-knee boots will always be a go-to, and I love the way they pair with skirts! They come up about my knee enough to make the look more causal yet elegant at the same time…if that makes sense haha. I’ve had this Kate Spade handbag for a while, and so glad to see that similar styles are still available!

What is everyone’s plan for Valentine’s Day? Najib and I like to keep it low-key, and may just head to a local restaurant around town or stay in and cook a meal together- yes he helps to cook sometimes!
